Visitor Information Centre (VIC)
Is the first building on the left as you come into town. The VIC is a wealth of information relating to Fort Simpson and area. There is a small museum displaying the history of the area and its people as well as a movie theatre with a variety of movies on our history and area. The VIC is staffed throughout the summer months providing helpful information to all visitors as well as guided walking tours of town. Guided Walks
Stop by the Visitor Information Centre on your way into town to arrange a guided walking tour of Fort Simpson. This tour will last approximately 1.5 hours covering many of our historical buildings offerings some of the more colourful tales of past residents. Please be prepared to walk up to 2.5 km's (1.5 miles) for the complete walk. Contact the VIC for more information.

Yes that's right golfing!
We have one of the most northern golf courses in Canada.
Currently a 6 hole course with plans to complete the final 3 holes soon, it
offers a club house
and pro shop with golf clubs for rent. Currently our longest hole is a 475
yard par 5 hole.
